What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not required on site.
You give your employees the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently optimized to the right format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several shapes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo booth and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the display, just like with the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be programmed in such a way that the data is simply read from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be presented with a sharing option for internal/external use of the recording.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the picture taken and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can be done in several forms at the same time.
So you always have the best photo for
Instagram, Outlook, XING, Facebook, LinkedIn
etc. are available.
Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the different versions for the different target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the photo taken will be sent directly to the employee's email address. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 or more employees.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over directly.
