What should be achieved?
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not required on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the appropriate format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You can position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box like they would at a photo booth and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data, such as B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up in such a way that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you define (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately included in the picture.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the company employees to choose from to get their photo digitally as well.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.

The cost frame
The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over directly.
