The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional staff are not needed on site.
This gives your teams the option of fully identifying themselves around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically optimized to the right format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You can place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel ID, first name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the employee ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the image.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the recorded image and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place simultaneously in different dimensions.

At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the company employee can use to copy his original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can copy their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
