The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the required actions on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be programmed so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.

Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the picture.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to receive their picture as a file.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
