The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional employees on site.
You give your staff the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the best format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been recorded, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee will also be visible on the picture.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory get the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to get their photos digitally.

Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can copy their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to load his or her original photo and the different versions for the different target systems.

Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
