The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that no extra personnel is needed on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor, just like with the passport photo machine.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.

After the employee portrait has been recorded, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also identified for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the connection.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can happen in several dimensions at the same time.
So you always have the best photo for
Outlook, XING, Facebook, the CRM system, Twitter
etc. at hand.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to choose from to get their picture as a file.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the staff can load their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the workforce can use to download their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems.

The investment for the purchase of a photo booth perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is kept immediately.
