The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves around the clock with their own employee photo.

The personal photos can be cut to the best possible format by machine, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.

The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information, e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is read directly from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then subsequently a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the photo can also be set up.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place simultaneously in different forms.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” using the logo and/or the employee's name and position can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?

To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to also receive their photo digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.
2. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail address.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee must dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

In order to make the best possible use of your investment, you have the following options:

• Employee photos (as explained above)

• Use at trade fairs to issue personalized “flyers”

The need for investment

The price for the purchase of a photobooth adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
