What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).

You give your employees the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently optimized to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in certain dimensions and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.

Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined point.

The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved photo and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in several dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the company logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately shown on the picture.

How does the staff get their photo?

So that the CRM system or ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new recordings, employees can choose between three different ways to receive their picture digitally.

1. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his or her original image and the various versions for the different target systems.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

In order to make the best possible use of your investment, you have the following options:

• Creation of biometric passport photos and ID photos

The price for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept directly.
