The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the option of creating and / or updating their individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the chance to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently adapted to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in many sizes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo booth in the same way as with a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read out immediately from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way are then later part of the file name of the employee photo.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee report can also be set up.

Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a defined position.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The images can be output in several formats at the same time.

How does the staff get their photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his photo as a file.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photobox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his or her original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's email inbox.
