What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the optimal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many shapes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the personnel department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be set up with a sharing option for internal/external use of the image.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra option.
The image output can take many forms at the same time.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to receive his photo as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the recorded photo will be sent directly to the employee's e-mail address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
Other deployment options
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The price for purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for organizations with around 100 or more employees.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
