The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically cut to the best possible format, freed from annoying elements in the background and saved in different formats and aspect ratios if desired.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified location on the final image.
The recording is saved in the size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the recorded image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can be done in several sizes at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with a company logo and/or the name and position of the employee will be visible directly on the image.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to receive his image as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his original recording and the different versions for the different target systems.
