What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the option of taking their own employee photo and / or bringing it up to date at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Personnel number, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then later a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be set up.
Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds you have specified. Likewise, the head of each photo is located, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio determined by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the photographed photo and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place at the same time in various dimensions.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, employees can choose between three different ways of receiving their image as a file.

The photobox provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems.
