What should be achieved?

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their personal employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various formats and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo booth perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen, just like at a passport photo machine.

The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Personal identification, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in different dimensions at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the company logo and/or the employee's name and position will be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo as a file.

1. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is then sent to the employee's email inbox.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.

1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
