The mission goal
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves around the clock to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the right format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be configured so that the data can be read in immediately from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also determined, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a specified position.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the photographed image and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place synchronously in various forms.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly on the picture.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, employees can choose between three different ways to get their picture as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original image and the various formats for the various target systems.

The price for the purchase of a photo box adapted in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for organizations with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option of trying out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is purchased directly.
