The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can sit in front of the photo booth in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be programmed so that the data can be read out immediately from the employee ID card. The employee data recorded in this way are then later part of the file name of the employee photo.

Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the photographed portrait and the internal employee data set. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.

As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can be done in parallel in several sizes.

How do the staff get their picture?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new images, employees can choose between three different ways of getting their photo digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can copy his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the various versions for the different target systems.
