What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional on-site personnel are not required.
You give your staff the opportunity to fully identify themselves around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in certain dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be set up.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photo taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can happen synchronously in many dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be included directly in the image.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his image as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can load his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.

The need for investment
