What should be achieved?

The staff photos can be independently optimized to the appropriate format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in some formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, employees can stand in front of the photo booth in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personal identification, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read in immediately from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the photo of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can automatically be exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. In the same way, the head is located for every photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.
The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the photo taken and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in different forms at the same time.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to get their photos as a file.

At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to download the original photo as well as the various formats for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
