The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a rotating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and saved in many formats and aspect ratios if desired.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, employees can sit down in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen, just like with the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be set up so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be set up with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also identified, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the stored portrait and the internal employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in parallel in various formats.

Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with the help of the logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately included in the picture.

How does the photographed person get the picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or ActiveDirectory are not the only ones to get hold of the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to receive their image as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the different versions for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can save their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Of course, there is also the option to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is retained.
