The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
This gives your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be independently adapted to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor, just like with the passport photo machine.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the business card. The information recorded in this way is later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a sharing option for internal/external use of the recording.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can happen synchronously in many dimensions.

Logically, each file can also be "personalized" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to receive his image as a file.

The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can copy their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

In order to get the most out of your purchase, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The cost of purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT, making it worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
