The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at a rotating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that no extra personnel is needed on site.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adjusted to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photobox set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth, similar to the photo booth, and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information, e.g. B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up in such a way that the data can simply be read from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way will later become an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be presented with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the employee portrait.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison between the recorded image and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in different dimensions at the same time.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to get his picture digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
