The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that no extra staff is needed on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically optimized to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.

Our proposed solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be set up.

After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and format you define (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photograph taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place in different sizes at the same time.

How did the staff get the photo?

To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to also receive their photo digitally.

  1. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems.
  2. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
    Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's inbox.
  3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
    The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
    At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
