The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal/external use of the recording.

After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a defined position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photo taken and the internal employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory gets the benefit of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his photo as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
2. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
