The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to always identify themselves 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best possible format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo booth perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data collected in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.
After the photo of the employee has been photographed, the background of the photo can automatically be exchanged for one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a defined position.
The photo is saved in a size and format determined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place synchronously in different dimensions.

How do the staff get their picture?

- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobox provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email address.
