What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo booth and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen, just like with the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or several backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is located, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the photo taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place simultaneously in many dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee can also be visible on the picture.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to also receive their photo digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobox provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
