What should be achieved?
The employees in your company are given the option to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically optimized to the best possible format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the image.
Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backrounds you have specified. The head is also found for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place synchronously in different sizes.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately shown on the picture.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new photos, employees can choose between three different ways to get their photo as a file.

The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can copy his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original image and the different versions for the various target systems.
