The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adjusted to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo booth like at a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison between the stored image and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the connection.
A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can be done simultaneously in several formats.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with logos and/or the employee's name and position can be visible on the image as well.

How did the staff come to the picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new images, the employee has three different ways of getting his image as a file.

The captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email inbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can load his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over directly.
