What should be achieved?
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adapted to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the required steps on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the photo of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or more of the background settings you have specified. The head of each photo is also found, adjusted to a specified size and placed on the final image at a specified location.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra option.
The image output can take place synchronously in different formats.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new recordings, employees can choose between three different ways of receiving their photo as a file.

The Photo Box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems.
