The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating the personal employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
This gives your workforce the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo booth and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display, similar to the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can be done in parallel in different sizes.

How does the photographed person get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to choose from to also receive their photo digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which staff can save their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
