What should be achieved?
The staff in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your teams the opportunity to always identify 100% with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the best possible format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, family name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the business card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photo taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra option.
The image output can happen simultaneously in many dimensions.
So you always have the right photo for
the CRM system, Outlook, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter
etc. at hand.
Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be included in the picture.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to get their picture as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides a private WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to load their original photo and the different versions for the various target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail address.
Additional deployment options
In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The price for the purchase of a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is kept immediately.
