The employees in your company get the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra personnel on site.
This gives your workforce the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the best possible format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth, just like with a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.
Following the recording of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in several sizes.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his photo as a file.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the different formats for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobox provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
