The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to identify themselves completely around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the personnel department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen, similar to the photo booth.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data, e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is immediately read from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position will be included in the image.

How did the staff come to the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get their picture digitally as well.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can copy their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his original recording and the various formats for the different target systems.
Alternative deployment options
In order to make the most of the purchase, you have the following possible uses:

- Use at employee parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}

The need for investment
The price for the purchase of a photobooth adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is already worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased directly.
