What should be achieved?

The employees in your company get the chance to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in several sizes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo booth and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor, as they do at the passport photo machine.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be displayed.

After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed at a defined point on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.

A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can happen in several dimensions at the same time.
So you always have the best photo for
WhatsApp & Co, XING, Outlook, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
etc. within easy reach.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be visible directly on the image.

How does the employee get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory gets the benefit of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo as a file.

1. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's inbox.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee must dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the Photo Box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to copy their original photo and the different formats for the various target systems.

Other possible uses

In order to make the best possible use of the purchase, you have the following options:

• Creation of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Photo attraction at customer events & conferences
• Photos of groups of visitors, e.g. after a lecture
• Use at employee parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Employee photos (as already explained)
• Use at trade fairs to produce personalized “flyers”

The need for investment

The price for purchasing a photobooth perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility of trying out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept directly.
