The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a rotating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adapted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photobooth in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you describe (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the photographed portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place simultaneously in many dimensions.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
So that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to also receive their image as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can load their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email address.

Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
