The mission goal
The employees in your company get the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
This gives your workforce the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the best format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read out immediately from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the image can also be set up.
After the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photo taken and the internal employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the company logo and/or the employee's name and position can be immediately included in the image.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to also receive their picture digitally.

The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original photo and the different versions for the various target systems.
Other deployment options
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
