The mission goal
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the display, similar to the photo booth.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the recording can also be set up.
Following the recording of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take many forms at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.

At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original photo and the various versions for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobooth provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
Alternative uses
In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:

The cost of purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 or more employees.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
