The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a rotating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not needed on the spot.
You give your workforce the option to identify themselves around the clock to 100% with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the human resources department, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit in front of the photo box, similar to a photo booth, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the business card. The employee data recorded in this way then subsequently becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.

After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photograph taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place in several forms at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "personalized" using company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory gets the benefit of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his picture as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is shown on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original image and the different sizes for the various target systems.
2. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo will be sent directly to the employee's email inbox.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can load his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Alternative uses

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the option of trying out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is taken over directly.
