What should be achieved?

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in several formats and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Personal identification, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The data collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal / external use of the image can also be set up.

After the photo of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in several dimensions at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with logos and / or the name and position of the employee can be on the picture.

How does the photographed person get their photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to receive his photo digitally.

1. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can load his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems.

The cost frame

The cost of buying a photo box optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
