What should be achieved?
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After the photo of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can automatically be exchanged for one or many of the backrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also located, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a defined location.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved photo and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in several sizes at the same time.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new recordings, employees can choose between three different ways to receive their photo as a file.

The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

The cost frame
The cost of purchasing such a perfected photo box starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course there is also the possibility to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
