The mission goal
The employees in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at rotating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
This gives your staff the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way later becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.
After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the saved photo with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in several dimensions.

Logically, each file can also be "personalized" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately included in the picture.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the photo taken will be sent immediately to the employee's email address.
Alternative uses
In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
