What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that no extra personnel is needed on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the photo booth, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also determined, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the photographed portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place synchronously in different dimensions.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the employee to receive their picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photobooth provides its own WLAN, which the employee must dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can load their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is then sent directly to the employee's e-mail inbox.
