The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional personnel on site.
You give your staff the chance to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several sizes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There the employees will stand in front of the photo booth in the same way as with the passport photo machine and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Personal identification, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read in directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can automatically be exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also determined, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the photographed photo and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can happen at the same time to some extent.

How does the photographed person get the picture?

- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can copy his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email inbox.
