The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional employees on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be cut to the right format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.
One possible solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor, similar to the photo booth.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data, e.g. B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up in such a way that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way later becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also determined, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra option.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, the employee has three different ways to choose from to also receive his photo digitally.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various versions for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where the employee can load his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the chance to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over directly.
