The mission goal
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adapted to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You can place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display, just like with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way later becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or more of the backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in various forms at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How does the staff get their photo?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, the employee has three different ways of getting his photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which allows the employee to download his original photo as well as the various versions for the various target systems. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

In order to make the best possible use of your investment, you have the following options:

Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
