What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves completely at any time with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many formats and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees are allowed to sit in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.

The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Personal identification, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read out immediately from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the picture can automatically be exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also found for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the photographed photo and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as optional add-ons.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory comes into possession of the new recordings, the employee can choose between three different ways to receive his photo digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobox provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the employee can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.

Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
