The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to always identify themselves to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the right format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo booth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the personnel department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box like in a passport photo machine and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be programmed in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The data collected in this way then subsequently becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the photograph taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in some dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be directly visible on the image.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the workforce to receive their picture as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the workforce can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can copy their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
