The use of a photo box for employee photos
The workforce in your company has the opportunity to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to always identify themselves 100% with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently adapted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the required steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the recording can automatically be exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio determined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the photo taken and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place simultaneously in different formats.

The photobox provides a private WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where the staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box. - Download from an online gallery
