What should be achieved?

The workforce in your company has the option of creating and / or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is done in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your staff the option to identify themselves completely around the clock with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently adapted to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.

The solution

You can place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can sit in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be set up so that the data can be read in immediately from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data set takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can happen in different sizes at the same time.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory do not alone get the new pictures, there are three different ways for the staff to get their photo as a file.

  1. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
    In this case, the captured photo will be sent to the employee's email address immediately.
  2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
    The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
    At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
  3. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.
