The use of a photo box for employee photos

The workforce in your company has the option to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several sizes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the required actions on the display.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Personal identification, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.

Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the recording can automatically be replaced with one or more of the backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the saved photo and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.

How does the photographed person get the photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new recordings, there are three different ways for the workforce to choose to receive their photo as a file.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the staff can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to load their original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems.
