The use of a photo box for employee photos
The workforce in your company has the option to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adapted to the best format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You can position a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. ID, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be programmed so that the data can be read in immediately from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the photographed portrait and the in-house employee data set via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image can be output in several formats at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for
XING, Outlook, LinkedIn, Instagram
etc. lying ready.
Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately visible on the picture.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the staff to get their photo as a file.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the staff can copy down their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
Alternative deployment options
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased directly.
