The mission goal
The staff in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently optimized to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and saved in different sizes and aspect ratios if desired.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen, similar to the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the photographed portrait with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in several formats.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and/or the name and position of the employee will also appear on the image.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to get their photo digitally.

The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides its own WLAN that the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the staff can use to download the original recording and the different versions for the various target systems.
